A NOTE FROM THE STUDIO

I was first introduced to the art of knitting while studying at Central Saint Martins. It was there that I developed a deep appreciation for the craft and the freedom it offered to experiment with technique, material and colour. What continues to inspire me most is knitting's unique balance: creative and expressive, yet precise and technical.

Miella grew from a desire to create knitwear that stands apart from the trend-driven pace of modern fashion. Having lived in England my whole life, making here matters to me. It means working alongside skilled makers, drawing on a knitwear heritage built over generations.

Through Miella, I hope to celebrate British craftsmanship with a modern, feminine perspective, creating pieces designed to be worn and loved for years to come.

The making of each piece

Our collections are made in small batches by specialist makers in England, allowing us to work closely with the people behind every piece.

Every Miella garment is fully fashioned, with each panel knitted to shape before being linked by hand for a refined finish.
